"A Kaleidoscope of Color"
We changed up the voting a little bit this year!
Show attendees were asked to vote for their top three favorite quilts in the General Entry category and one quilt in the entire show that was their absolute favorite, which would be the Viewer's Choice.
The ribbons awarded to each of the four Supporting Groups Challenges were chosen by our fabulous vendors. We felt that this would make the awarding of ribbons to be the most fair and impartial. It was fun to watch from a distance as they carefully inspected the quilts and read the descriptions.
Finally, since the Show Planning Committee members are the ones who choose the show theme and challenge you to make a quilt that fits that theme, we thought that it made sense that we should be the ones who vote for the Show Theme category. (We were not allowed to vote for our own quilts!)
Everyone said that voting was incredibly difficult, as there were so many fabulous quilts this year!
